Zeus came to the Pound on 25/03/2025, from a rescue that is closing down
He's a great sociable boy who adores humans, he's great with children however he is a bit bouncy and does get excited.
We have child tested him with a 5 & 7 year old and they both fell in love with this lad.
He's good with other dogs so can live as an only dog or with a friend. He is a happy boy will make a great addition to a family.
Zeus does require High fencing in his future garden.
He's around 2 years old & medium in size

Jenny - Thriving in a Foster Home, but desperate for a temporary Foster Home between 24/04/2025 & 01/05/2025, so she doesn't need to return to the Pound, whilst she awaits her Forever Home!
Large Dog - Loving & full of character
Jenni is a wonderful dog, we believe around 18 months old and has been with us since April 2024.
Jenni can live in a home with older children , she is good with younger ones but sometimes she doesn't remember she's a big girl and so may knock the little ones over!
She has the sweetest nature, but can be selective as to the dogs she warms to, so we would suggest she is an only dog, initially.
Jenni does have Leishmania - Many dogs live long and happy lives, despite their positive Leishmania. For Jenni, the Leish is totally under control and there are no concerns or problems for her related to the disease. She takes 2 pills a day to maintain her good health in this regard, and has a 6-monthly blood test. We will talk to potential adopters about this & provide information.

This sweet girl is ready to find her forever family, having come to us from another Rescue which was closing down.
Inara is a 3 year old girl who was found wandering the streets by her previous rescue.
She may have a mix of pointer & beagle in her family tree.
She's a happy go lucky girl who had lots of energy and love! She loves playing with other dogs.
She is cat friendly, can be homed with children age 6+ who understand that she will need her own space at times.
She is nervous around new people but once you have her trust, she is your best friend

Ronnie - looking for a Foster Home in Cyprus, whilst she awaits her Forever Home!
Ronnie is approximately 14months old.
She is young, bouncy and can be boisterous, but with clear boundaries and training she will thrive in the right home. She needs a home that is experienced with dogs and training them positively and understanding her needs.
We believe Ronnie is a Rottweiler & Labrador cross ... Ronnie does have the Rottweiler grumble, which can be easily misread for growling. When she's enjoying something she will make a noise that sounds like a growl, however, this is known as the "grumble" anyone who owns a Rottweiler, or a cross with one, will know what I'm trying to explain!
It's easy to get confused and think she's growling but our volunteers have all said the same thing ….. It’s enjoyment on her behalf. So, her new home needs to understand her body language when she does this, so they can determine if it’s a happy grumble or a warning.
Ronnie is a sweet loveable girl who knows her own mind…. if she is unhappy about something she will let it be known, through a warning growl. This is a credit to her ... it means she is able to develop a good relationship with her humans, so they know her likes and dislikes and she feels able to express the things she likes and the things she is not so keen on.
Ronnie weighs 23kg and is approximately medium in size; She has lived in a home, walks well on her lead (with a halti), is vaccinated and is booked in to be spayed. She can live with other dogs and children 10+.

Demitra is such a sweet pup! She has come to us, from a local rescue who has closed down.
With a broken leg and pelvis, this little lady was in need of some TLC. Thanks to a kind gentleman, she was able to have surgery to fix her leg - what a trooper!
Demitra may be a bit shy around strangers at first, but give her a sniff and a treat, and you’ll have a friend for life!
She’s a Labrador cross pointer, weighing around 18kg and is approximately 2 years old.
With the right home and environment, we know this girl will thrive and become an incredible furry companion.
She’s a social butterfly who gets along well with other dogs and is a hit with kids. Her favorite pastimes include chewing on antlers, bouncing on the trampoline, and digging holes in the yard with her buddies.

Florence - not yet available for Adoption but thriving in her Foster Home!
Florence can to us on 05/04/2025
This beautiful little lady is slowly beginning to feel safe with her foster family. She enjoys being up on the sofa under a blanket having a cuddle. She now goes outside but when it's time to come in she refuses and she has to be carried home!
Florence is scheduled for a pregnancy check on 22/04 as she was removed from an environment where they were breeding the dogs

Bruce - not yet available for adoption; looking for a Foster Home in Cyprus
Bruce is a staffy cross & arrived on 04/04/2025 - he was found in a local village and picked up by the community warden.
Isn't he just gorgeous?!
Bruce is not currently available for adoption, but is available for Foster in Cyprus. As we are still getting to know him, his foster home would need to be both child and pet free

Maya - ADOPTED, PENDING HOMECHECK!!!
Our Volunteer was greeted on 03/02/2025, by the sight that none of us want to see when we head in to see our Dogs of a morning – two tiny poppets, abandoned at our gates!
Maya is friendly & sociable, she is food motivated and trainable. She is a wonderful girl who just needs the right environment to thrive in.
Maya has been assessed by a behaviorist and we have been advised that she needs structure & routine within an adults only Foster Home, as children are behavior triggers at this time.
We are happy to go into more detail about Maya with potential foster/forever homes.
